Our Vision
Rex is a third-generation New Zealand winegrower and a viticulture consultant. Over the last 25 years he has established his own wine brand, grapevine nursery and viticulture consulting business, and has become the face behind New Zealand Winegrowers’ Vineyard Spray Schedule.He has been a board member for New Zealand Winegrowers, a member of the New Zealand Winegrowers research committee and an executive committee member for Organic Winegrowers New Zealand.
Bridgit is passionate about making a difference in the agricultural sector, sustainability and empowering future generations of women to spark a positive change.With a Master of Agriculture Science and extensive agribusiness experience, Bridgit created Regen, an agritech company providing world-class environmental tech solutions for farmers.She led Regen for 10 years, before exiting to CropX in 2020 and taking on the role of Chief Sustainability Officer.
Tracy is an angel investor and business advisor to start-ups, helping early-stage companies succeed and grow sustainably, and is a chartered accountant with international experience in financial services. Based in the heart of NZ’s wine industry, Blenheim, Tracy has a passion for the wine industry, having studied viticulture and winemaking, and 10 years of business experience in the industry.Her passion is making a difference, helping entrepreneurs and business owners realise their full potential.
Leila is a computer systems engineer by training, and started Cropsy with co-founder Ali in 2019. She built the first prototypes and developed the technology with Ali to where it is today straight out of engineering school. Leila coordinates our multidisciplinary team to deliver the full value of Cropsy to growers. She also manages capital raising and investor relationships.

He built the first prototypes and developed the technology with Leila to where it is today straight out of engineering school. Ali is the technology lead and sales lead, and he spent the last 5 years immersed in vineyards and viticultural practices with growers from Blenheim to Bordeaux.
